Overview

Merlin's quest is about restoring the spirit of Christmas in a fantasy world of the spiritual nature where The White Witch of Christmas, La Bufana, a mythological tradition from Italy. In this story, La Bufana, is in charge of distributing spiritual gifts through fairies, but the leprechauns are interfering with the fairy dust for gifts to the children. It shows how one gifted generous good thought can be turned into a bad thought. There are some words written in Italian, as this is an Italian myth, but translated in the text.

About the Author

I have an honors degree in Early Childhood Education. I qualify for Whose Who in America and am a member of Whose Who among Professionals. I am a published author in my previous profession with editorials to the Tallahassee Democrat and the Washington Post, gratefully changing State and Federal Regulations for the benefit of the people. I am retired now from the State of Florida, as a Senior Human Services Program Specialist, responsible for interpreting State and Federal Policy and training employees in the State. Now that I am retired I am pursuing a second career in Children Stories as recommended by my Children's Literature Professor in college. To that end, I have taken a class in Writing Children Stories to improve my writing skills in this arena. Even though my writing skills were improved by my profession the type of writing is completely different.
