In a place where worlds are at war and war is lucrative there is only one job where you can be your own boss. Mercenary work is tough and dirty, no one plays by the rules. If you're lucky you can get out, disappear, start a new life. However, even if you leave the war behind, it often has a way of finding you. What is the cost for peace? How many people must die? How does a Merc leave it behind? Good question let me know when you find the answer. My name is Jack, or at least that is what I go by now. I'm here to tell you a story, and it isn't pretty, but it is my story. A story about a Merc, a Princess, and a terrible King.

I'm 66 years and I retired that loves to read and have alway been interested in idea of writing books. I completed my first book over 10 years ago and know I have a total of five book out and am working on on a sixth one. In my spare time when I'm not writing ,I'm a science fiction buff.
