Roslyn Appleby is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. Her research on English language teaching has been published widely, and is the topic of her book ELT, Gender and International Development. Her current research interests include gender and heterosexuality, language teaching and militarisation, and political discourse analysis.
