Memory Host 9 works to combine science fiction, poetry, music, and artwork in order to create a more immersive reading experience. Using science fiction and futuristic technologies to present the work as a frame narrative, the ultimate destiny of these characters will be decided by the readers. This first issue hopes to introduce major characters, technologies, and themes that will be repeated throughout the series.​​​​
