Memoriile lui Sherlock Holmes (în engleză The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes) este o colecție de 12 povestiri polițiste scrise de Sir Arthur Conan Doyle și avându-l în rolul principal pe faimosul detectiv. Cartea originală a fost ilustrată de Sidney Paget.

Acestea povestiri scurte au fost publicate inițial ca simple povestiri în revista Strand Magazine în perioada decembrie 1892–decembrie 1893, apoi în volum, în 1894, editat de George Newnes Ltd din Anglia.

„La câteva sute de metri de grajduri, pelerina lui John Straker fâlfâia, agățată într-un un tufiș. În imediata apropiere era o groapă, iar pe fundul ei a fost descoperit cadavrul nefericitului antrenor. Capul îi fusese sfărâmat de o lovitură barbară, aplicată cu un obiect greu, și mai avea o rană pe coapsă, o tăietură lungă și dreaptă, făcută bineînțeles cu un instrument foarte ascuțit. Cu toate astea, era clar că Straker se apărase cu dârzenie împotriva atacatorilor săi, pentru că în mâna dreaptă ținea un cuțitaș plin până la prăsele de sânge închegat.“
