Memories of Grace is Joscelyn Gleave's first novel. It gives insight into the mind of Grace, an eleven- year - old girl's mind and the stab of jealousy she feels towards her older sister who was just given her own horse. Despite Grace's jealousy, she visits the stable that her sister boards her horse. Unexpectedly she meets Danny, a stallion who silently helps her see past the end of her nose. Her wishes of riding him in the future are destroyed when the owners decide to sell him. This novel also includes poetry and takes you through the ups and downs of any young girls' life.

About the Author

Joscelyn Gleave found her passion for writing at a young age. When she was nine, she decided that writing was her future. At age ten, she won the 10 year-old category of the nation wide Olive Garden Pasta Tales writing contest where over 7,500 entries were judged. She also won several smaller, local poetry and short story contests. Her sister and favorite horse inspired her to write this book based on actual events that shaped her personality. Joscelyn lives with her family and beloved dog, Chloe in Arizona, but hopes to travel the world and share her writing and ideas along the way.
