Yuzuki Kobayashi was an assassin for a regent empress, along with her entire family. When her father betrays them and puts the entire country at stake for a civil war, Yuzuki sacrifices herself to save them. She had thought that death was the end of her journey. Much to her dismay, there is life after death however, and as she awakens in this new world she must learn to adapt. She finds that life was never as she knew it, and when an evil from her past threatens to tear her newfound peace apart she must battle against it with everything she has. She learns about love, friendship, loss, and hope, and discovers what it means to have purpose and something to fight for.
