About the Author

Brenda Nearpass is a mother of four, wife, has seven grandchildren, and is a real estate agent. She is an active community member, serving on several different fundraising committees. Brenda's life turned upside down in May of 2018 when she went to a walk-in clinic for a sinus infection but was shortly diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. Brenda was determined not to let this life-altering event keep her from doing what she loves and enjoys. Since her diagnosis and surgery, she has helped others who are going through similar trauma and has become an inspiration to many. Brenda is an advocate for The Nation Brain Tumor Society , where she has participated in events with state senators and congressman to help craft legislation that will provide financial relief for patients suffering from brain disease and increase funding for research to find a cure. Brenda lives in North Idaho with her husband, Jeff, and their two dogs and two cats. She loves traveling and looks forward to her beach trips every year.
