About the Author

Joel currently resides in Los Angeles, California - where he continues to write several literary works of which Mei is his first publication. Having spent most of his years by himself, he found refuge and expression through writing. Composing everything from short stories, to poems, essays, and now a new journey towards novels. Joel writes solely from his own experiences, his view of the world, but most importantly, from his own private thoughts and uncompromised feelings. In his spare time Joel travels, believing that as we discover the world, we too discover ourselves. And to this day he continues to spend much of his time on his own - visiting and revisiting Japan…where he has found pieces of himself.
