About the Author

Dunn Neugebauer came up as a tennis player, but eventually took up the joys of running without having to worry about holding a racket or keeping score. A columnist for Georgia Milesplit and author of three other books, he currently coaches cross country and track at a high school in Atlanta, where the teams remain state contenders year after year, including a state cross country title in 2019. When not writing or running, Dunn enjoys the art of simply observing life as he knows it, as opposed to staring at his cell phone for hours on end. He lives in Sandy Springs and is often seen running at dump truck pace on the nearby Chattahoochee River trails.
