Overview

The most sweeping vistas in the North American Heartland can be found in the Rocky Mountains. At once magnificent and unforgiving, the Rockies invite exploration of their alpine meadows, forested slopes, rocky ridges, and snowy peaks. Even the most experienced high-altitude trekkers will benefit from keeping this useful resource on hand. Beautifully illustrated and easy-to-use, this resource covers the region’s most familiar and widespread species of trees, shrubs, and wildflowers that can be used to treat common backcountry maladies. Laminated for durability in all weather conditions, this lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guide is an essential companion for educators, learners, naturalists, hikers, and trekkers, while doubling as a useful plant identification tool. Also included is detailed information about each featured plant, making this an essential tool to add to your daypack. Made in the USA.
