Overview

"So...you think your father is dead, really dead?"

That is what Harriet Wong, MD thought two years after his passing, but now she has stumbled upon a secret Near Death Experiment Division at the Yale General. Now she has serious doubts. Could her father - and others - still be alive, or is she just stressed and crazy and deserves a rest, a break, outside of the University, like they tell her ?

Her whole world gets turned upside down and she has to decide to fight to know the truth. But who can she trust ? Nobody.

Will she use all her powers to free her father ? Wouldn't you ?

The stunningly beautiful young Doctor must confront authority and finally death itself. Her adventure has a twist at the end you can not predict.

Hospitals can be scary places, even for Doctors.

This is an authentic medical mystery, written by a former Yale MD who knows the ins and outs of big hospital politics, power, and egos, and wants everyone to know that this book is all fiction. None of the characters is real. Not one.

A note from the author:

A long time ago, this book was signed up to be a "Movie of the Week" on CBS, but never produced. They even had the actors picked out. The final rejection was heartfelt, and I truly appreciated their review of efforts to have it made. And their enthusiasm matching mine.

After that (1983), I just chucked the book into garage, but it was "reborn" after an expensive but imperfect text scan and sold over 1,000 copies on that other platform. Today, it is free.

If you choose to read, I hope you enjoy, Stay Well, Mike Crade, M.D.
