Overview

The first title of the three book series is a self esteem book entitled "ME". My goal was to create a selection of simple but fun, entertaining and empowering children's self help books that would teach and encourage positive behavior as well as effective communication skills. Our child empowerment books are also unique because they're infused with the authenticity of a child illustrator, my 9 year old granddaughter. Together we have created a series of fully illustrated self-help books which we call Child Empowerment Books!

About the Author

My name is Lillie Jackson. I am the proud mother of three handsome sons and the grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. For as long as I can remember, I have worked with children. Both my grandmother and my father were school teachers and as a child I always enjoyed and anticipated helping my grandmother prepare for the new school year. Because of my love of children, I often volunteered as a teacher’s aide during the time my boys were in school. In the years since, I have worked in private as well as public schools. Most recently, I have worked as an infant, toddler and preschool teacher. Over many rewarding years of teaching, I have become increasingly aware of the significant importance that books as a tool help convey and reinforce values in our children. Hence the creation of my Children Empowerment Series – self help books to stimulate positive messages and healthy behaviors. My series focuses on specific attributes such as self-esteem, making positive choices, empathizing with and embracing differences, and communication – using your voice. It is my hope that my series will encourage our children to be both loved and liked little people! I believe that it's never too soon to teach values and once instilled, will guide our children throughout their lives. Thank you and enjoy!!!
