All is silent. Everyone sits in their homes, watching as newscasters all over the world broadcast the fiery showers raining down from the sky. The explosions cause seismic destruction. Suddenly, those watching from their homes, and even those that are in the destruction zones, have stopped to listen to the deafening silence that follows these apocalyptic events. The silence fills the air just as much as the summer heat sweltering over the western hemisphere. And then, they emerge. And the world ends...but only as everyone knows it. And the mountain waits patiently, peacefully, for those that flee to its safe haven.
