About the Author

Maxine Harper obtained a BS in Education from Delta State University, an M.Ed. in Special Education from Mississippi State University, and an Ed.D. from Delta State University. She taught special education for six years, then did a stint as a computer programmer, and now serves as a professor and director of a research center at The University of Mississippi. She has authored one other book titled Daffodils in the Snow: A Weekly Bible Study/Devotional. She lives in Oxford, Mississippi with her border collie, Sonny.
