About the Author

Dwayne C. Perry was born in Pittsfield Massachusetts, but raised in Orlando, Florida. Dwayne is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry who are both retried teachers in Orange County. Dwayne has a twin sister Deirdre Perry and has an older sister Dionne Anderson. Dwayne is a graduate of Orlando Jones High in the class of 86. Dwayne received a basketball scholarship from Eckerd College where he continues to hold the All Time Leading Scorer and Rebounding Record. Dwayne graduated from Eckerd College with a degree in Human Resources with a concentration in Youth Services in 1990. After College Dwayne went on to pursue a professional basketball career where he spent thirteen years in Europe while picking up several languages and becoming a citizen of France. Dwayne transitioned his career into Education while becoming a Certified teacher in the State of Florida and then going on to pursue his Doctorate in Education and he holds a Doctorate in Ministry. Dwayne has carried out his God given vision of establishing True Sanctuary of Praise in 2011 in Riverview Florida where he is the founding Pastor. Dwayne has also founded The Academy of True Sanctuary of Praise in 2014, Enhance Your Chance Community Development Center in 2012, and Reach One Teach One Out Reach Ministries in 2017. Dwayne also been sent to Africa in 2017 to help develop leaders in ministry and those who are developing their own ministries. Dwayne is married to the lovely Esther Marcellus-Perry and they have three children named Irving, Amber, Cedric and one granddaughter Skyler. Dwayne lives by faith and trust every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Christ!!
