About the Author

Andrew has been a professional writer, copywriter, script assessor and storyteller for over thirty years.

He has worked as a Development Executive for both Screen Australia and Create NSW where he used to read and assess hundreds of scripts a year. He has also worked in online marketing and runs, Mysterious Light, his screen production company.

Andrew has written and directed numerous feature films including, Black Water and The Reef both of which are very well regarded and have found worldwide success. Most recently he has just finished the sequel to The Reef, The Reef : Stalked.

From an early age, when he’d dress up as Robin Hood and cruise round the neighborhood on his tricycle Andrew has loved everything to do with ancient heroes, myths and tales of adventure.

Comedian, writer, illustrator and elementary teacher, Mick resides in Los Angeles where he appears regularly on stage, telling jokes singing songs and generally making people laugh. He will happily abandon a math lesson in order to make his class to write stories and act them out. When he's not writing or performing, Mick likes to play guitar (a lot), travel (a lot) and cook the best Texas Chilli ever (a big call yes, but true.) He misses Australia a lot, but enjoys being able to look at the Hollywood sign while he sits in traffic.
