About the Author

As a Las Vegas native, X. C. Louis has been an artist since he was a youth. He's been working with various mediums like drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, and most recently writing. As a self-proclaimed "innovation strategist", X.C. Louis believes the sole purpose in life is to experience dominion through creativity. Along with creating books he is an amazing chef and dedicated uncle to 13 nieces and nephews.

Natalia Powell studied communication at University of Nevada Las Vegas and Culinary arts at College of Southern Nevada. She has published several books to date and has made her debut into the book illustration scene. She is a wife and mother to 6 children. They currently reside in GA.

I really enjoyed reading Marty the elf. It was an easy read, and something that a child would understand and get excited about, especially during the holiday season. My favorite part was the twist of incorporating the story of Christmas and elves, but making it more exciting for a child...What's better than the elf games ?! I would definitely recommend this book to parents and children!
