I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It held my attention from the first chapter to the end. It is the first book that I have read by Ms. Gaddy, but it won't be the last. I have already added the whole series to my TBR list and I look forward to meeting more residents of Redfish, Texas.

This book is really well written and covers issues that I have observed over the years in second marriages. The author doesn't minimise the effects of a broken past and gives the reader hope for the future.
