About the Author

James Walsh is the president and founder of Maple Street Press, a privately held independent sports publishing company. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and lives in Scituate, Massachusetts.

Steve Mastroyin is a lifelong Sox fan who posts his thoughts on and analyses of the team at the website Sons of Sam Horn. He resides in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where he keeps a close eye on the team’s AAA affiliate.
