About the Author

Brian C. Anderson is the editor of City Journal, published by the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research. He is the author of South Park Conservatives: The Revolt against Liberal Media Bias and Democratic Capitalism and Its Discontents, among other books. He frequently writes for the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and other leading publications. Adam D. Thierer is a senior fellow at the Progress & Freedom Foundation. As director of PFF’s Center for Digital Media Freedom, he analyzes public policy developments that affect the economic and social aspects of the media. He is the author or editor of seven books on diverse high-technology topics.
