About the Author

Ms. Starks was an AF sergeant. She was a class room educator. She taught science, social studies and ESL in Fort Worth's Como Elementary 3rd grade. Ms. Starks was inspired by a student who pouted in the school library. He was upset because there were no books in our school library about our special guest, Dr. Claude Robert Platte. She is proud of her rich heritage of educators from Kentucky to Madrid Spain.
