What makes these mandalas different from those found in other coloring books? Each is drawn with only pen and paper, and no drawing tools of other kinds, entirely by hand. (Watch the video on how to get started if you want to draw your own.) No protractors, compasses, rulers, or curves. While each mandala is digitized as part of the production process for the book, no part of the actual drawing is done on a computer. Why does this make a difference? It results in more complex and satisfying drawings than are produced in other ways.
