About the Author

Tracy Taylor is a Professor of Sport Management and Business School Deputy Dean at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. Tracy’s research focus is human resource management, cultural diversity management in sport, and sport and security. Tracy leads the HR module of the Executive Masters in Sport Organisations Management which is supported by the International Olympic Committee, Olympic Solidarity and the European Olympic Committees. Tracy is the incoming Editor of European Sport Management Quarterly and immediate past Editor of Sport Management Review

Alison Doherty is a Professor in the Sport Management programme at Western University, Canada. Her research focuses broadly on the management of non-profit and community sport, and particularly sport and event volunteerism, governance, organizational capacity, and innovation. Alison is a Research Fellow of the North American Society for Sport Management and was the 2012 Zeigler Lecture Award honoree. She is the Editor of Sport Management Review

Peter McGraw teaches subjects in human resource management and leadership at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He researches and publishes in a variety of areas concerned with management, human resource management and employee relations and is the author of over sixty academic articles and book chapters as well as two HR textbooks
