A former teacher, principal, and college professor, Doug is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences, and he has delivered numerous workshops to school districts, individual schools, and various educational agencies in the United States and abroad.Dr. Fiore is the author of the following books, published by Eye on Education: Six Types of Teachers: Recruiting, Retaining, and Mentoring the Best (with Todd Whitaker); Introduction to Educational Administration: Standards, Theories, and Practice; School Community Relations; Dealing with Difficult Parents: And With Parents in Difficult Situations (with Todd Whitaker); and Creating Connections for Better Schools: How Leaders Enhance School Culture.Doug lives in Midlothian, Virginia with his wife, Lisa, and his daughters, Meagan, Amy, and Katherine., Chip Joseph has spent the last 16 years in public education working as a teacher and in various leadership roles.
