Millie appeared in over 250 comic issues in the Timely/Atlas/Marvel line, including 207 of her own original title and eventually became an official member of the Marvel superhero universe. Millie was created by Ruth Atkinson and was initially published in 1945. The series would go on to be written by Ruth Atkinson and other comic book greats such as
Stan Lee. Millie was drawn by Ruth Atkinson, Pete Riss, Ken Bald, Mike Sekowsky, and the famous decade long run by Dan DeCarlo (#18-93). There are even a few joke pages by
Harvey Kurtzman and Basil Wolverton.
