About the Author

Natarsha Walker is originally from Cotton Plant, AR, but currently resides in Newport, AR, where she enjoys her peace and serenity. She is married with two children and has always wanted to write. She decided that it was finally time to contribute her God-given talent into putting more good into the world, so Magic Soap was born. She began working on this children's book while in law school and told Magic Soap, one of many stories, as a bedtime story to her daughters.

In 2017, Natarsha Walker was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus. Her health rapidly declined, and she found herself at home more than usual. The experience gave her a gift. She re-discovered an outlet... writing. Systemic Lupus is a very painful and crippling disease, and Walker's writings gave her an escape. Every night around bedtime, her daughters would ask, "Momma, what's in your mental diary tonight." As time went on, my girls told me that I should turn some of my stories into books. So with that being said, Magic Soap is dedicated to my daughters, Morgan and Nikiyah Walker. The artistic talents that you both displayed have been synonymous with patience, style, and excellent insight. My vision could not have been realized without you. Thank you, my darlings, love mom.
