About the Author

Kim Sarae Bean lives in the beautiful foothills of Western Maine. She graduated college with a
music degree and has been teaching piano ever since. She loves to play for church, to compose
and to record at Baked Beans Recording.

Kim has dabbled in various projects over the years, ranging from extensive art lessons to raising chickens.
Somehow, the two met up and Mabel's World was hatched!

When not teaching or doing a project of some sort, Kim loves to be outside: gardening, hiking, kayaking
and just exploring the woods, often accompanied by her husband, Alan, along with their corgi, Beanie.
Four grandchildren complete the mix, giving the world a fresh new look through their ever excited
wonder over every discovery.
