About the Author

Born and raised in a small town in Ontario's Ottawa Valley, Stephen Swant had always been a man intrigued by the mystery of all that goes bump in the night. As a young man, he spent a couple of years kicking around Western Canada, working on farms and in garages to earn some money to move down the road. Aged sixteen, he embarked on a free-spirited journey, traveling back and forth between Winnipeg and Vancouver Island for two years. Eventually, he settled down in Ontario after landing a job there.
A tragic car accident during his youth led him to become a quadriplegic since then. Undeterred, he used the time to reflect on the stories that he wished to tell the world. Though unafraid of most classic monsters as a child, he harbored a specific fear of wolf-like creatures lurking in the shadows. That childhood anxiety and paranoia later gave birth to the tale of Eric, the ‘Lycan Triad.’
