About the Author

Joey Ahlbum, a New York City native, graduated from the high school of Art and Design and The School of Visual Arts. His animation and illustration work includes projects for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, MTV, Frederator,and PBS. He was supervising director on the Emmy winning “Clifford’s Puppy Days” for Scholastic and worked on 9 seasons of “Elmo’s World” for Sesame Street. His personal films have toured in a Best of ASIFA series, been shown in Movies in the Park, the Zagreb Animation Festival, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Film Forum in NYC. He currently lives in Manhattan with his lovely wife and daughter.
