Lucid Moments is a collection of short stories.
1.Bobby's works- Disillusioned with his life, a young man decides killing himself is his best way out, only to find that God has plans for him before he can check out.
2.The shepherd- Living on the streets to spare his family from his demons, a Vietnam vet gets pulled into a war with a local crime boss after he saves a young woman from being raped by her pimp.
3.Love lost- An elderly man sits at the bedside of the love of his life as she slowly loses her battle with cancer. When a caring nurse asks him about their story, the dimming light of their love flares up again in his heart as he recounts their story of love and loss that truly comes once in a lifetime.
4.Out run- A street racer wakes up strapped to a chair in a strange warehouse, just one of ten street racers being held against their will. They have been chosen to take part in a race to the death organized by a sadistic billionaire as entertainment for himself and his friends.
5.Baby mill- A young investigative journalist is invited to tour one of America's top baby mills - like puppy mills, but for humans. She is greeted by the matriarch of a family of doctors who have owned and operated their baby mill for over 20 years.
6.April's trails- An overweight and arrogant high school girl learns that life doesn't always imitate art and that unrequited love can end very badly.
7.Killing time- Heading to an annual convention, a henpecked funeral home director uses the time during an airport layover to blow off some built up steam, leaving a trail of dead bodies in his wake.
