About the Author

Landon C. G. Miller is the son of then Lt. Hugh Barr Miller, Jr. In 1958, a Bill passed Congress, and President Eisenhower signed the bill, requesting that the Navy Department award Miller the MOH, and extending the time period to do so, but to no avail. This book thus continues Fleet Admiral William "Bull" Halsey's quest to award Hugh Barr Miller Jr. the Medal of Honor, which Halsey said, many times, "was so justly deserved".
