About the Author

Sheila Wiseman left school early as a teenager to take up a job at a senior care facility, where she learned the

importance of compassion and caring for others. These skills became invaluable as she navigated life as an

accommodating mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in Minnesota, Sheila moved to Montana

at a young age and experienced many of the events she recounts in her memoir. Despite facing numerous

hardships, Sheila has also enjoyed many joyous moments. She hopes readers will appreciate the unique

short stories that highlight her journey of longevity.

Brigitte Wiseman has been a freelance writer for a few years before pursuing a bachelor's degree in English.

As a mother of three, her experiences in raising her children have profoundly influenced her ambitions

and writing.
