Love is Love
Laura Westly is a struggling New York writer, who finally convinces a publisher to buy her book. To everyone's surprise, the novel sizzles to the top of the New York Times Best Seller List. Her book is about a female screenwriter who falls in love with an actress. The book attracts a great deal of attention from the media, especially from Mark Johnson, a high powered talent agent whose famous client list includes Juliana Rodgers, a popular TV actress from The Unexplained, a television show. Juliana loves Laura's novel, but is reluctant to make a movie about two women in love. After talking with her best friend Tumoss, she decides the role would advance her movie career. She flies out to New York to meet the writer in person, and there's a combustible attraction between them, but Juliana ignores it. Instead, she asks Laura to pen the screenplay and Laura agrees to the deal. After the script's completion, the film goes into pre-production and Laura comes to LA to assist with the rewrites. Laura is unaware that her life is starting to parallel her book. If you are a sucker for a great love story, you're going to adore Love is Love. It is a modern story with a slight twist.

About the Author

The skill of writing came to me when I was twelve years old. My aunt gave me a journal and I started to write daily. Mostly I wrote about what I did that particular day, but ultimately it led to more. It allowed me to peel away at the disturbed emotions of childhood. It eventually gave me a new outlet into creative thinking. I wrote over one hundred poems, and had over twenty of them published in college journals, reviews, online publications and anthologies. My poetry came from a dark place, but as I progressed in spiritual recovery, my interest for other types of writing increased. I explored script writing in one act plays and screenplays entitled, "Keeping the Family Secrets," "A Conversation with God," A Twist of Fate, The Unit, and Love is Love. In 2009 Love is Love reached #17 on Amazon and in 2013 Love is Love was released on Kindle.
