Love Forward

Can a single act of love have global impact? Robert Benson's answer is "yes." In 1968, his life was changed when an ordinary couple took him home from a children's shelter in California. Over the next fifty years, the reverberations reached around the world and changed hundreds more, as Robert sought to help other abused and abandoned children. That is the principle behind Love Forward.
In this inspiring book, several of those whose lives were changed share their stories for the first time. Myla, Anzelie, Juan, Yessica, and Robert each experienced abuse and abandonment early in their lives—including intra-familial rape, attempted murder, child labor, homelessness, and other trauma—until interconnected acts of love and compassion helped redirect their lives toward hope and healing. The result is a single incredible story of love, faith, strength, and perseverance, powerfully conveyed in each person's voice using their own words.
Love Forward is a bold call to action, reminding readers that a single action can have a ripple effect that extends across cultures, countries, and generations—and inviting readers to continue the story in their own unique ways.
