About the Author

Brenda Smith was born into humble beginnings and was fortunate to have two wonderful parents who instilled in her a profound love for life and a positive outlook. She has always been a happy person, surrounded by love and positivity. Growing up with fifteen siblings—eight brothers and seven sisters—Brenda learned a great sense of responsibility at an early age. Her childhood was filled with joy, love, and kindness.
From a young age, Brenda was drawn reading, often visiting the neighbor library to explore books and delve into the mysteries of the universe and God. Her interest in spiritual teaching, particularly the words of the Jesus so beautiful demonstrated in the four gospel Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Led her profound understanding of mankind’s nature and purpose. I was very often well verse in every subject including health science, geography, religious and history of mankind.
Brenda embarked on her educational journey with enthusiasm, starting with primary education in Montego Bay, in the parish of Saint James, Jamaica, followed by attending Northwestern Academy, a Christian high school. She pursued nursing at the University College Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, for three years, becoming a registered nurse. Her passion for caregiving led her to specialize in midwifery at the Royal Maternity Hospital in Glasgow and attend a course in cardiac neonatal at Brampton Hospital in London. Her career spanned several hospitals, including Peninsula General Hospital in New York and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, as well as Metropolitan Hospital in New York. Brenda dedicated six years to Kendall Regional Hospital in Miami before joining South Miami Baptist Hospital's maternity unit, where she worked for over 30 years. Her journey also led her to explore the path of becoming a Nun, deepening her understanding of God's love and humanity.
Brenda has been blessed with two kind husbands who taught her about unconditional love, kindness, and patience. She is the proud mother of three daughters, a source of immense joy in her life, along with her grandchildren, who bring her happiness and inspiration.
Guided by her faith and a strong sense of purpose, Brenda's life has been a testament to love, healing, and inspiration. She hopes that her book will inspire readers to discover love, light, and fulfillment on their own journeys.
