About the Author

Nathan J. Gregory is the author of the post-apocalyptic thriller series LOST SHADOWS as well as the poetry book YOU ARE NOT YOUR WORDS. He resides in Michigan, the great lake state, and is a proud pet dad.
Nathan's love for writing and books began as a child and grew even as he worked through his undergraduate degree at Eastern Michigan University. From R.L. Stein, to Gertrude Stein, Nathan read all that he could, and wrote even more often. In 2016, he released his debut novel, Lost Shadows, the first novel in a post-apocalyptic series filled with mystery, action, and wit. From there, he has released a sequel to Lost Shadows, and a stand-alone poetry book.
He makes it out of the office as much as he can to travel, meet new people, and relax with family. When he's not writing, Nathan spends time in the virtual worlds of video games, immerses himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and jokes, laughs, and adventures with friends. For him, staying active in his local and global communities not only keeps him young, but allows him to continue to learn about others, as well as grow as a writer and creator.

Lost Shadows by Nathan J, Gregory is a debut novel with much promise for a sequel. The characters were unforgettable and engaging along with a unique plot and storyline. A read for young adults and adults alike; a clean and fun read with great imagination. Easily a stand alone read, but there is that possibility for a continuing story. A well written debut and I look forward to, and will keep my eyes open for any future books by Nathan.

You could read it as a stand-alone and miss nothing if you blow off the low-key pass-off to the next book. I really did enjoy the book so 5-stars.

Nathan J. Gregory's writing technique is amazing and had me hooked from the moment I started reading "Lost Shadows." Both captivating and interesting, I love the fact that this novel is written in a now-a-days type of language which made it easy to understand. It's not old school, and the supernatural elements definitely made me smile as an ex-paranormal investigator. Looking forward to the sequel and many more of Nathan J. Gregory's books.
