Overview

Men of good faith, no matter what crazy events are going on in the world around you, what you think the future holds, or how busy your lives may appear--this is your war right now. If you are looking at pornography, attaining victory over this affliction must take precedence in your everyday life.

If you were to ask a pastor, priest, deacon, or clergyman what the biggest crisis is facing Christian men today, the vast majority would undoubtedly agree that it is internet pornography.

And yet it would appear that nothing more can be said or written about the problem of pornography that hasn't already been stated. Bookshelves are overflowing in Christian bookstores, and the internet is bursting with videos, blogs and websites committed to combating porn.

With such an abundance of resources available to combat porn, why are so many Christian men still in bondage to it?

In vivid detail, author Jay Lampart lays out several reasons why the internet pornography crisis Christian males are facing today is so unique and dire. He then presents five very simple, but highly effective weapons that are available to us as Christians to combat it.

This book is not for the faint of heart. We have a responsibility to pass our faith onto the next generation intact. It is a big responsibility, and we must not take it lightly. The thought that any of us can continue submitting to pornography in the cover of darkness and effectively carry out our roles as spiritual leaders, fathers, husbands, sons and witnesses of the faith in the light of day is nothing short of an illusion.

About the Author

Jay Lampart became an author the moment he was jolted awake one night, prompted with a very clear mission to write this book. He is the founder of 123catholic.org, an anonymous organization in Baltimore, Maryland, dedicated to helping men who are struggling with pornography issues.

Jay left the Catholic Church as a teenager vowing never to come back after accepting Jesus as his personal Savior during an altar call at an Evangelical church. On Easter of 2015, the story of why he returned was aired on EWTN's The Journey Home with Marcus Grodi.

In his spare time, Jay enjoys playing music, writing and spending time with his family. He lives with his wife and three children in Baltimore County, Maryland.
