Karean L. Chapman, award - winning author, is a devoted mother of two daughters, Mikayla and Shayna who are her inspiration, love and joy!

Karean has written several books, among them “Look At Me… A Veterinarian I Want To Be!”, “Look At Me...A Musician I Want To Be!”, “Who Me? What Should I Be?” and the “The Adventures of Northern the Moose and a Dragon Named Zeus.”

Karean L. Chapman is a freelance graphic designer and owner of OC Design www.ocdesign.biz. Previously Karean was in the veterinary medical profession as her love for animals is one of her many passions.

When Karean is not busy working, writing and caring for her family, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar, piano and reading.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. What a great addition to my 9 year olds library. The photos are whimsical with a variety of animals. Sure to please any animal lover. The author makes it easy to read and learn some "fancy" words. Great job! I will definitely buy more books from this author we love her vision.

As an animal lover, I'm happy to see this colorful children's book drawing attention to veterinarians and pet care. This sweet book touches on studying to be a vet, what goes on at the vet clinic and the important role veterinarians play in teaching pet owners how to care for their Fido, Polly and Muffy (and one or two more exotic animals, it seems). Wonderful illustrations and a handy glossary with definitions of a few medical terms found in the story.
