That's what young dragon Shervan discovers after arriving in the land of Lohikarmen, in search of a shelter from the hunters who wish to destroy his kind. After one of them, Haxrod, also learns this eye-opening truth, both cross paths in a secret valley where the legacy of the old dragon-human kingdom is kept alive.
But as the unexpected allies are hosted in this haven, a bigger threat arises: the ruling kingdom that colonized Lohikarmen is ready to crack down their discovery and take dragons to a fate worse than death.
