living a free and courageous life with God
Marieke Meijer, psychologist with twenty years of experience, writes about freedom in Christ. Subconscious thoughts and feelings impact our behavior. We can get stuck in stressful relations or working situations, lacking self-confidence, without knowing how to be relaxed and free again.
This book provides a biblical perspective on freedom in Christ in daily life. It also provides psychological techniques, using Karpman Drama Triangle, and examples how to detect thoughts and feelings that block this freedom. It gives tools how to make conscious choices and how to take responsibility for your own life. As a result it helps people to live in a more free and relaxed way.

The book was published in the Netherlands in 2015. Since then the author got questions if it would be possible to make this accessible to English readers too. She asked native speaker and professional translator Joyce Phillips to translate the book. The translation was motivated by lots of enthusiastic comments from readers who were Christian their whole life or just met Jesus. They enjoyed the fresh and freeing perspective this book gave them in a way they never had thought of, making grace a daily reality.

"I use this book as a workbook. When I get stuck, I pick it up again to remind myself of the freedom that Jesus gives."
