About the Author

Laura Ononibaku grew up in Western Massachusetts and currently resides in Georgia with her husband and two children. As a busy working mom of two, Laura loves to write short children’s stories that inspire young children of color to embrace their unique abilities with a positive mindset and grow up to be confident and fulfilled. This passion stemmed from her inability to find quality children’s books that catered to children of color when she sought to build a book collection for her small children’s nurseries.
