About the Author

Josephine Kelly was born Kellie Guinot, in Paris 12th district, on August 3rd 1980.
Daughter of Josephine Moungolo, an ambition flight attendant from the Congo, a cultivated woman and a talented writer. During her childhood, Kellie had the chance to accompany her mother on her several trips, visiting many countries and piquing her curiosity, love and knowledge of other cultures.
In 1993, a journey to the Congo brought her life to a decisive turning point. Marked by war, death and loneliness, her only escape were music and writing.
In 2003, after attending ESRA Paris cinema school, Kellie won the prize for “Best hope in cinema careers”from the famous French organization Foundation Marcel Bleustein Blanchet pour la vocation.
Full of hope, dreamer by nature and passionate for ancient history, Kellie began to develop The Forgotten Land series.
