Overview

Ballet, palaces, haughty flamingos and beautiful princesses come together in this charming,
illustrated storybook that introduces the cat princess, Lillibelle. Upon hearing that her best friend
is visiting Meaux to perform with her ballet troupe, Lillibelle sets out to be the best hostess. She
invites the whole troupe to stay with her in the palace - after all, there is plenty of room! But
when she is preparing to meet everyone at the airport, her dress is not quite ready yet, so
Princess Lillibelle must wear regular clothes. This means that Agata, a rather dramatic flamingo
dancer flat out refuses to believe that Lillibelle is who she says she is! After a few mishaps, they
arrive at the theater, and Lillibell's's gown is waiting there for her. It has been made especially
for her, by her favorite dressmaker, Alfred, the most dapper mouse you will ever see. What will
happen when she puts it on and Agata sees that Lillibelle really is the cat Princess of Meaux?
Will she apologise? Will Lillibelle really go and watch every single performance? Read on to find
out more about this charming character, her chihuahua butler, and her chauffeur, Luc, a unicorn
who loves to paint!

About the Author

Johana Moreno and her husband Luis Juarez are a husband-and-wife writer and illustrator team
who work together to create the most beautiful books for children. This is Johana's second
book, but the first to be published in English. Her book was written in her native Spanish and
was published in 2016. This book is about a cat princess who loves the ballet, and has a rich
and diverse cast of characters appearing throughout. And there will be many more books to
come, so do be sure to keep an eye out for them!
The writing half of the team, Johana is a leading motivational writer as well as being Luis's wife
and the mother to their son and their soon-to-be-married daughter who has a cat - named Pop
Tart - of her own! Johana and Luis have a pet too, they are owned by an adorable troublemaker
of a chihuahua called Odie who completes their family unit, and together they live in Colorado in
the USA. Johana graduated from the Cambridge Institute with an associate degree in science, but her
passion lies in writtting , Johanas's family are deeply faith driving , finding both solace and motivation in their desire to live within the teachings of Bible, and Johana would even go so far to say that life without God would make no sense at all.
Johana has been moved to write since the age of ten when she would spend hours typing up
stories about princesses and fairies on her mother's old typewriter. Unfortunately, she could not
indulge her dream about becoming a writer until fairly recently, as life whisked her off down
different, equally fulfilling and busy paths. But she has, of late, found that her writing dream is
still there waiting for her, and now, at last, she has the time to answer that call.
Johana is inspired by her family and her faith, and she loves writing fairy tales with which she
hopes to inspire women that their dreams - like hers - can come true. She loves the innocence
and imagination of childhood, seeing how a sheet flung over a table can become a princess
castle and a cardboard box can become a globe-navigating ship or a rocket, flying into the
stars…
When she is not crafting her own fairy tales, Johana loves baking and making desserts, as well
as thrifting, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys helping others, deriving
satisfaction from guiding and advising those in need of it.
