In Jennifer's catering business and restaurants, her saying was always to "come as friends, leave as family". Her recipes are simple and very user-friendly, even for novice cooks. Most of the recipes can be made with the ingredients you already have in your pantry. The recipes also include some gluten-free, vegan, and Keto variations. She recently fell in love with playing competitive tennis, but cooking will always be her first love. FOOD...God's Love Made Edible Jennifer Truitt was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Southwest Texas State University, studying Business Management. Like many of you, she grew up with the love of cooking. Her dad owned three restaurants that she worked at from the young age of twelve which inspired her to have a place of her own one day. In 1994, she started catering and two years later opened her first restaurant called Gourmet Country Café in Taylor, Texas. She is truly just a small-town girl who got to live out her dream of cooking and making people smile for over twenty years!
