Overview

The Characters Thomas (Tommy) Reynolds, Thelma Reynolds, Rayford (Ray) Tourberville, William (Billy) Ralston, and Claire Ralston are abducted by aliens. The story begins midway through the Civil War when they meet Ramalla; an alien from Zeta Reticuli. The aliens take them on a tour of the solar system to explain how the inhabitants of the Planet Thura (the asteroid belt) destroyed Mars and reduced their own planet to a mass of rubble. Before destroying themselves they managed to inflict a curse on the human race in which they carry out their own destruction.
