Light in the Dark
"Power is not for those who desire it," said the voice. "Even the humblest can succumb to its intoxicating desire for more."

A teenage orphan girl finds a supernatural book that shows her the way to escape her current circumstances for a better life. In her quest to gain the power needed to begin her adventure, a man who has lost everything, realizes she is in trouble. Without any hesitation he steps in to save her and ends up in a parallel dimension. While he is gone, a mysterious darkness begins to attack her city, and she must learn to change her heart to hold it off until she can find the man who usurped her power. Battling through their own internal conflicts, the two of them embark on a journey's that has them facing spirit creatures, treacherous allies, and formidable enemies. Through triumphs, and failures, and help from those that believe in their cause, they battle the influences of evil to make way for the Light in the Dark.

Light In the Dark depicts an epic battle between good and evil by making those concepts real entities that individually influence the thoughts of the people. Because the entities are real, they can interact with the people who must decide if they will acknowledge their existence. If they do, then they must determine if they want to fight against or give into the persuasive enticements of those entities. Just as we must decide which direction we will choose.
