Hello, my name is Makyla or M. S. A. N. I was born & raised in a small town in Indiana. “Life Upside Down; Fighting Demons” is my first published book, but it will not be my last. I’ve been in love with poetry since freshman year of high school when a teacher assigned a poetry project. I’ve learned how to use it as a coping mechanism & give life to ordinary words. When I’m not writing I’m enjoying my time sculpting, painting, watching SYFY series/adult cartoons, & spending time with my rescue cats & German Shepherd.
