About the Author

Bekki Hill trained to become a life coach because she was so impressed by her own experience of life coaching. She qualified in May 2002 and, after a period of general life coaching, founded The Write Coach and began specialising in using life coaching techniques to coach writers.

As her experience grew, Bekki trained to become a mentor and subsequently spent three years mentoring life coaching students alongside running her own practice.

Bekki is also a writer who has written many life coaching based features and articles. She has written a regular coaching column in writing magazine Mslexia since 2005 and in 2006 she wrote a coaching component for an MA in screenwriting. She is also the author of Coach Yourself to Writing Success, published by Hodder, Teach Yourself.
