About the Author

During his formative years, the author developed a warrior’s mentality, with the stories passed down from fathers to sons before him. He inherited their need to protect those who could not protect themselves, help the homeless, and heal the wounded. He strove to carry on that legacy, by devoting his life’s work to love of country and his fellow brothers in arms. Following in the footsteps of those before him, Jimmy Crisp swore an oath to protect and to serve. 
A bullet shattered his dreams of a military career, but once he regained partial use of his arm, he became a law enforcement officer and a private security specialist. After literally returning from the dead, Jimmy went on to become a pilot, scuba diver, skydiver, and now an author. These new paths led him around the world in ways most civilians experience vicariously through a silver screen.
